I know I should not take it personally but some how I do. When the CA supreme court ruled in favor of Prop 8 today I took it as a personal affront. Mind you I am not a resident of CA and actually was not all that fond of it the few times I have visited, yet as a lesbian, gay citizen of the land of the free I somehow feel less free.
